Patrol Officer Position Requirements
Individuals seeking employment with Long Beach Police Department as a sworn law enforcement officer must:
- Be a United States citizen;
- Be a resident of Mississippi, or become a resident within sixty [60] days of employment;
- Be at least twenty-one [21] years of age;
- Possess a valid Mississippi Driver License;
- Never have been convicted of a felony, or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude;
- Be free of misdemeanor convictions for the last twelve [12] months;
